PRT Science (Primary Teacher – Science)

Position Overview:

The PRT Science teacher is responsible for teaching basic science concepts to primary students (Classes I to V). The teacher will help students develop curiosity, observation skills, and a foundational understanding of scientific concepts through engaging and activity-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach basic science topics such as plants, animals, human body, environment, matter, and simple experiments.
• Prepare lesson plans as per CBSE curriculum guidelines.
• Use activity-based and experiential learning methods.
• Conduct simple classroom experiments and demonstrations.
• Develop students’ observation, reasoning, and analytical skills.
• Assign classwork, homework, and projects.
• Assess students regularly and maintain academic records.
• Maintain discipline and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and co-curricular activities.
• Communicate student progress with parents.

Qualification & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science (B.Sc.) preferred.
• Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
• CTET qualified (Paper I) – Preferred/Required as per school norms.
• Strong subject knowledge in basic science.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use smart classroom tools.

Experience:

• 1–2 years of teaching experience preferred.
• Freshers with good subject knowledge and teaching skills may apply.

• Child-friendly and patient approach.
• Creativity in explaining concepts.
• Classroom management skills.
• Ability to conduct simple practical demonstrations safely.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,732.76 - ₹17,000.00 per month
