Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver interactive, age-appropriate lessons on topics such as community, local history, geography, and basic civic rights/responsibilities.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a structured, safe, and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters curiosity.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Grade assignments, projects, quizzes, and exams, providing constructive feedback to students and reporting progress to parents.
- Interactive Learning: Utilize teaching aids, storytelling, and activities to make social science concepts relatable to young learners.
- Parent Communication: Meet with parents and guardians to discuss student development, behavior, and academic progress.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), often with a specialization or background in Social Studies.
- Certification: Valid teaching certification/license, such as passing the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET/CTET) for primary classes.
- Skills: Strong communication, patience, creativity in lesson planning, and effective classroom management capabilities.
- Subject Knowledge: Understanding of fundamental social science concepts appropriate for children aged 6-11.
