A Primary Teacher (PRT) is responsible for educating children in grades 1-5, creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a safe learning environment, and assessing student progress. Key duties include delivering core subjects (literacy, numeracy, science), managing classroom behavior, communicating with parents, and implementing extracurricular activities.

Core Roles and Responsibilities of a PRT Teacher:

Instruction and Planning:

Develop, plan, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans based on the curriculum.

Teach a broad range of subjects including language, mathematics, science, and social studies.

Use diverse teaching methods to cater to individual learning needs and styles.

Student Assessment and Progress:

Regularly assess student performance through assignments, projects, tests, and homework.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and behavior.

Identify student weak areas and provide targeted support or remedial teaching.

Classroom Management and Environment:

Create a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.

Establish and enforce classroom rules, encouraging good behavior and discipline.

Manage classroom resources and materials effectively.

Communication and Development:

Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and behavioral development.

Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development training.

Extracurricular Involvement:

Organize and coordinate school events, excursions, and extracurricular activities to promote holistic development.

Supervise students during breaks and on school trips.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
