Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Transport Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team working on a range of Bus, Coach, and Rail HVAC systems.
The successful candidate must hold a Level 4 Hybrid/EV qualification and have experience working within the automotive, transport, bus, coach, rail, or commercial vehicle sectors. Full specialist training will be provided on the specific air conditioning and heating systems including training on the refrigerant systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair transport air conditioning systems
- Carry out fault finding on electrical and HVAC systems
- Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
- Complete job documentation accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service while working independently or as part of a team
Requirements
- Level 4 Hybrid/EV qualification
- Experience working on vehicles, HVAC or transport air conditioning systems
- Good electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Strong health and safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
Desirable Skills
- F-Gas qualification
- Experience working on buses, coaches, rail, or commercial vehicles
- Diagnostic software experience
