Marpa Minds is dedicated to providing holistic mental health care through transformative Spravato (esketamine) treatments. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychedelic Integration Guide to join our team and support patients in their healing journeys. The ideal candidate for this role is heart-centered, attuned to others, and maintains a holistic orientation in their approach to supporting those who are healing using psychedelic medicine.
About the Role
As an Integration Guide, you will play a vital role in facilitating patient preparation, in-session support, and post-treatment integration. Your presence and guidance will help patients understand their experiences, cultivate self-awareness, and foster long-term healing.
Key Responsibilities
· Facilitate pre-treatment preparation, helping patients to feel safe and at ease before their Spravato sessions.
· Assist patients to navigate expanded states of consciousness. Support them to set healing intentions prior to their Spravato session.
· Provide on-site support during sessions, ensuring a safe, grounded, and compassionate environment for patients.
· Lead post-treatment integration, guiding patients through self-reflection, emotional processing, and meaning-making.
· Offer integration tools and practices to support clients to stabilize and maintain their frequency in the days following their medicine session.
· Work collaboratively with a psychiatric provider and medical assistant as part of a three-person team.
· Crisis intervention: Offer support to individuals who are actively experiencing distress during their session, guiding them to feel safe and supported + to move through difficulty in a safe and productive way
· Cultivate a sense of safety, trust, embodiment, and self-compassion in patients.
· Encourage self-motivated healing and provide resources for continued personal growth.
· Receive supervision and mentorship from the Lead Integration Guide and Clinical Director.
What We’re Looking For:
· 2-3 years of experience working with others in a healing capacity with expanded states of consciousness
· Understanding of expanded states of consciousness and experience moving through various states of consciousness
· Deep understanding of psychedelic integration and the healing process surrounding expanded states of consciousness.
· Strong ability to hold space, practice active listening, and create a supportive therapeutic environment.
· Ability to communicate in a non-directive manner, and also the ability to offer more directive support when necessary (Ie. In times of distress)
· Someone who is compassionate, attuned, and respectful of others
· Understands and honors the inner healing intelligence within each client that is working to unfold their unique healing process
· Experience in coaching, guiding, or mentoring individuals through personal transformation.
· Background in meditation, somatic practices, transpersonal psychology, or holistic healing modalities is a plus.
· Coaching certifications are preferred but not required. Traditional licensure in psychology or social work is not a requirement for this role.
· Has engaged deeply in their own healing and personal development process
