We are seeking a Psychiatric APRN (PMHNP) to join our growing mental health practice as a W-2 employee. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric disorders, provide medication management, and support ongoing therapeutic care.
You will work alongside other APRNs, psychiatrists, therapists, and clinical staff in a collaborative, team-based environment. Our clinic offers advanced treatment modalities including Spravato (esketamine) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), providing opportunities to expand your clinical scope.
This role is supported by administrative, billing, and operational infrastructure, allowing you to focus on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental status examinations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in compliance with state and federal
- guidelines
- Provide patient education on diagnoses and treatment options
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in case consultations and team meetings
Qualifications:
- Current APRN license in Nebraska with PMHNP certification
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- DEA license and prescriptive authority (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in outpatient or inpatient psychiatric settings
- Comfort working with diverse populations and a wide range of diagnoses
- Interest or experience in interventional psychiatry (TMS, Spravato)
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary: $120,000 annually (W-2), with realistic total compensation potential of $150,000–$180,000+ based on productivity
- Established patient demand and full administrative, billing, and scheduling supportare in place to help clinicians maintain a consistent schedule
