Psychiatric Mental Health Advanced Practice Nurse, APN, Full-Time, Part-Time, central, NJ

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced NJ Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Advanced Practice Nurse (APN), for Full-Time and Part-Time positions, to provide high-quality mental health services, including psychotherapy, clinical assessments, and case management, to diverse client populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake interviews for individuals across age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Provide individual therapy utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral health interventions,
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with client needs and clinical best practices.
• Utilize EMR systems for accurate documentation of patient records, medical terminology, progress notes, and treatment outcomes while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to support clients experiencing acute mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and case management teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Experience

• Proven experience in psychotherapy with diverse populations
• Familiarity with EMR systems and medical documentation standards.
• Background in crisis intervention, case management, diagnostic evaluation
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and ethical standards for patient care delivery in a remote setting.
