Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team Full Time to provide patient care in office, hybrid and every other Saturday. This role is essential in providing high-quality mental health care to patients across various settings, including Tele-Medicine services. The ideal candidate will be skilled in addressing a wide range of psychiatric conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide medication management and monitor patient responses to treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with healthcare standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
• Engage in teaching activities within the clinical office setting to support the education of nursing staff and students.

Experience

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on psychiatric-mental health.
• Familiarity with techniques related to psychiatric assessments is advantageous.
• Background in providing care for children ages 6 years of age or older or individuals with disabilities. Additionally, background in substance use disorders is a plus.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, standards, and best practices in mental health care delivery.

Pay: $100.00 per hour
