Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive mental health services to diverse patient populations. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, including patient history, mental status examinations, and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 coding standards.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, therapy, and other modalities such as Ketamine as needed
  • Prescribe medications responsibly while monitoring for efficacy and adverse effects, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medication management protocols.
  • Provide crisis intervention, triage, and acute care management for patients experiencing psychiatric emergencies or behavioral health crises.
  • Collaborate with physicians, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately within EMR systems like Therapymate, maintaining detailed medical records in accordance with NCQA standards.

Requirements

  • Valid certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with current state licensure.
  • Proven experience in behavioral health settings with familiarity in clinical research, hospital medicine, or emergency medicine environments.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
  • Experience working with diverse populations such as children, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs.
  • Experience providing Ketamine treatment
  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or Athenahealth; familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform physical examinations, medication administration, venipuncture, IV infusion procedures, and sterile processing techniques when required.

Pay: $85.00 - $110.00 per hour
