Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our innovative healthcare team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. In this role, you will provide expert psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for diverse patient populations. Your expertise will help improve mental health outcomes through evidence-based interventions, medication management, and collaborative care. Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, including patient history, mental status examinations, and diagnostic evaluations using EMR systems such as ICA Notes.
- Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, therapy options, and lifestyle modifications aligned with best practices and clinical guidelines.
- Prescribe medications responsibly, including antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and other psychiatric medications while adhering to CPT coding standards and HIPAA regulations.
- Manage medication adjustments and monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups via telehealth or in-person visits.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across specialties such as behavioral health, therapists/counselors, primary care, geriatrics, pediatrics, and emergency medicine to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, medication administration, and self-care strategies to promote recovery and resilience.
- Document all clinical encounters meticulously in electronic health records (EHR) systems while maintaining compliance with NCQA standards and infection control protocols.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with current licensure to practice independently.
- Proven experience in behavioral health settings.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology, including medication management for complex cases.
- Experience working with diverse populations including children and adults.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems; telehealth experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments.

Pay: $96,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
