Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/NP) Addiction Medicine & Behavioral Health

Location: Southeastern & Southwestern New Mexico (Hybrid Available)

Pay: $65.00 – $75.00 per hour

Job Summary

Renew Health is hiring Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to provide addiction treatment, mental health care, and medication management in an outpatient setting. Providers will work with patients experiencing substance use disorders and behavioral health conditions through in-person and telehealth services.

We welcome both newly licensed and experienced providers passionate about behavioral health, MAT services, and community-based care.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric and substance use evaluations
• Diagnose and treat mental health and substance use disorders
• Provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) including buprenorphine-based care
• Manage psychiatric medications and follow-up care
• Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and care teams
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Deliver in-person and telehealth visits as needed

Qualifications

• Active New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP-C, FNP, PMHNP, or similar)
• DEA license and prescribing authority required
• Experience in addiction medicine, psychiatry, or behavioral health preferred
• Strong communication and patient-centered care skills
• PMHNP or experienced NP with behavioral health background
• Strong experience managing SUD and dual-diagnosis populations
• Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with clinical leadership
• Passion for expanding access to quality care in underserved regions
