Crownview Medical Group is a private, outpatient psychiatric clinic located in beautiful Coronado, California. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing clinical team. This position is open to part-time or full-time candidates and offers a collaborative, supportive work environment focused on high-quality patient care.

Position Overview:

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for child, adolescent, and adult patients in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate values teamwork, evidence-based practice, and patient-centered care.

You will work alongside an experienced support team that includes psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and dedicated administrative and billing staff, allowing you to focus on clinical care without unnecessary administrative burden.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions using evidence-based practices
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other clinical team members
• Uphold ethical and professional standards of practice

Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN)
• Current and unrestricted California RN / Nurse Practitioner license
• Current BLS certification
• Active NPI number
• Current DEA certificate
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
