Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is currently seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for their Lamar Diversion Center. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides both general and special outpatient, telehealth, and residential crisis nursing services for individuals with serious mental illnesses including medication dispensing and monitoring, medication skills training, giving injections, working with pharmacies. This position works with the person served, other professional medical providers, and clinicians to establish culturally competent service plans and treatment services. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner works outside of a “4-wall” model to integrate a variety of disciplines and community services for the benefit of the patient. This position may require nights, weekends or holidays as Lamar Diversion Center is a 24-hour residential facility.
