Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Synergy of Monticello Inc. This position plays a vital role in delivering high-quality psychiatric care and support to our patients, contributing significantly to our mission of promoting mental wellness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses to treatment.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health issues.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Stay updated on best practices in psychiatric care and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health.
• Current certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding and medical documentation standards.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Experience with electronic health record systems is preferred.
