We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our outpatient behavioral health team. The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care in a collaborative clinical environment. This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations while helping to improve access to mental health services in our community. Position is 7on/7off.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including mental status exams and diagnostic assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide medication management, monitoring therapeutic responses, side effects, and adherence.
- Offer supportive psychotherapy and patient education as appropriate to scope of practice.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, primary care providers, and support staff to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation within the EMR.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide crisis assessment and intervention when needed.
- Adhere to organizational protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted PMHNP certification (ANCC) required.
- Current state APRN license (or eligibility).
- Minimum of 1–2 years of psychiatric experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations will be considered.
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care.

Pay: $180,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
