Job Purpose:
Responsible for conducting assessments and providing medication management services to youth ages 5-24 in an outpatient, telehealth environment.
Mindhues is seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner to conduct assessments and provide medication management services to clients. The primary function of this role is to support clients through assessment and medication monitoring. The psychiatric nurse practitioner role will be an important part of the Mindhues team, assisting Mindhues in growing their ability to provide clients with evidence based, high quality care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work in an outpatient telehealth environment
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations
- Diagnose mental health conditions
- Maintain timely documentation within electronic health record
- Prescribe medication, as needed, in order to reduce mental health symptoms
- Provide excellent patient care and treat patients with compassion while developing trust and rapport
- Implement evidence-based psychiatric care
- Complying with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
- Exhibit enthusiasm, courtesy, adaptability, flexibility
- Participate in team meetings and develop cadence of structured and consistent communication with the clinical team and other staff, as needed

Education and Experience:
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification required
- Masters in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required, active DEA license
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners need to be licensed in the state in which they will be practicing
- Preferred a minimum of two years of clinical experience providing child and adolescent psychiatry services as part of a multi-disciplinary team in an outpatient or inpatient setting
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Advanced written and oral communication, decision making and problem solving skills, efficient time management and multi-tasking ability
- Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bi-lingual preferred but not required

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
