We work well with new graduates and help teach you the skills needed to excel at outpatient psychiatry. We provide medication management and psychotherapy and take the time to know our patients, so that we can understand who they are and the situations they face. In life, we all need support, to be heard, a comforting presence, life coaching, and ways to cope. We help our patients with all of these, as we work with them to help them overcome emotional issues and situations. We provide medication management and medical diagnoses; however, we believe that rewarding outcomes and impacting patient lives involves a combination of psychotherapy and medication management. Psychotherapy can be as simple as motivational interviewing, talk therapy, and CBT. We offer a warm, supportive environment conducive to learning and improving skills in many aspects of psychiatry.

Duties:

(We will help train you in any areas you need or desire to strengthen)

• Manage patient care, including psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose and treat mental health conditions
• Provide support and a therapeutic alliance with patients to help them overcome their mental health issues
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs
• Prescribe and monitor medication regimens to manage mental health symptoms
• Provide therapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, families, or groups
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in psychiatric research and treatment modalities
• Provide great documentation of patient visits

Requirements:

• Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• Experience in patient care (we work well with new graduates)
• Valid state medical license to practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
