Join the Psychiatric Access Team at Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) and help transform lives as a part‑time or full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner serving our diverse Commerce City community. Our multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, nurses, medical assistants, and care coordinators—provides state‑of‑the‑art psychiatric care through both in‑person and telehealth services. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive medication evaluations, medication management, and psychiatric assessments while collaborating closely with skilled mental health professionals who value resilience, respect, lifelong learning, and whole‑person care. AMHR offers unique opportunities for professional growth, including supplemental pay for Crisis Stabilization Unit coverage and the ability to teach, mentor, precept, and support the development of future providers. We seek a licensed Colorado Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner passionate about serving adults with mental health needs and energized by teamwork, innovation, and the commitment to ensuring accessible, high‑quality psychiatric care for all.
Part-time Schedule. We offer flexible work arrangements and are seeking providers to work a hybrid schedule of 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE) with approximately 50% of time spent onsite between the hours of 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.
Full-time Schedule. We offer flexible work arrangements, either a 5 x 8-hour workweek (Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm) or a 4 x 10-hour workweek. Our hybrid model allows for a mix of remote and in-office work, with an expectation of being in the office two days. This schedule may be adjusted based on patient and community needs.
Salary for this role.
Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full-time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Fewer than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE. Salary is also based on years of licensure and company equity.

Required Vaccination and TB Test.
At AMHR the health and safety of our clients and staff are our top priorities. As part of this commitment, all employees are required to receive an annual influenza (flu) shot and present a negative TB test result before their first day of work. Proof of both the flu shot and negative TB test must be provided on your first day of employment. Medical and religious exemptions can be requested if necessary.
