Duties

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide medication management, including prescribing and monitoring psychiatric medications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Offer support and education to patients and their families regarding mental health issues.
• Engage in utilization review processes to ensure appropriate care delivery.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in psychiatric care.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health.
• Current certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is required.
• Strong knowledge of medical records management and documentation practices.
• Skills in patient care.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
