We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our team and help expand access to high-quality mental health services for our community.

Position Summary

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and follow-up care for patients across a variety of mental health conditions. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, collaborative, and passionate about improving access to mental healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, mood disorders, and other psychiatric concerns
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Provide education regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment options
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with clinical standards
• Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population

Required Qualifications

• Active Hawaii APRN license in good standing
• Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and mood disorders
• Experience with outpatient psychiatric care
• Experience with telehealth services
• Experience in integrated primary care or wellness settings
• One or more years of PMHNP experience preferred; qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply

• Shift Length: 8-hour shifts
• Employment Type: Contract
• Compensation: Based on experience

Pay: $65.00 - $95.00 per hour
