Psychiatric Physician Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing mental health clinic. You will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and interventional treatments for adult patients in a collaborative, supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management
• Diagnose and treat conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia
• Provide patient education and supportive therapy
• Administer and monitor IV ketamine therapy, TMS treatments and Spravato (esketamine)
• Monitor patient safety and vitals during treatments
• Manage medical weight loss programs, including GLP-1 medications and ongoing patient monitoring
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation

Qualifications

• Active California PA license (PA-C)
• DEA license required
• Psychiatry experience preferred (outpatient or inpatient)
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable starting IVs or willing to be trained

Nice to Have

• TMS credentialing
• Experience with ketamine infusion therapy
• Primary care or procedural experience

Pay: $75.00 - $90.00 per hour
