Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Psychiatric Social Worker (PSW) to work in a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Hospital. The candidate will support patients with mental illness through psychosocial interventions, family counselling, community reintegration, and rehabilitation planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments of patients and families.
• Provide individual, group, and family counselling sessions.
• Develop rehabilitation and discharge planning for patients.
• Coordinate community resources and support services.
• Maintain case records, progress notes, and reports.
• Assist in behaviour management and psychoeducation programs.
• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.
• Facilitate family meetings and caregiver support programs.

Eligibility Criteria

• MSW / MPhil in Psychiatric Social Work / Medical & Psychiatric Social Work.
• Experience in mental health, rehabilitation, or hospital setting preferred.
• Good communication, counselling, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
