Position: Psychiatric Social Worker

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and assist in developing individualized care plans.
• Provide counseling, therapy, and emotional support to patients and their families under professional supervision.
• Organize and participate in therapeutic group sessions, skill development activities, and rehabilitation programs.
• Engage patients in vocational, social, and recreational activities that promote confidence, creativity, and self-reliance.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, therapists, and caregivers to ensure holistic treatment.
• Maintain accurate and detailed case records, progress reports, and documentation.
• Participate in awareness programs, community outreach, and family education meetings.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW), preferably with a specialization in Psychiatric Social Work or Clinical Social Work.
• Freshers and recent graduates are welcome — training and mentorship will be provided.
• Must be interested in therapeutic activities, creative in skill development, and motivated to engage with patients through activity-based therapy.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach to care.

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
