Psychiatrist

Job Summary
We are seeking a Staff Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric care to adolescents and adults in a residential eating disorder treatment program. This role is responsible for psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing clinical support to ensure patients are stable, safe, and able to participate in treatment. This is a direct-care clinical role - not a medical director or administrative position.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations for admissions and ongoing patients
• Diagnose and treat eating disorders including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, ARFID, and OSFED
• Assess and manage co-occurring psychiatric conditions
• Provide medication management and psychiatric follow-up
• Evaluate and manage suicide risk, self-harm, and behavioral instability
• Participate in treatment team meetings
• Collaborate with therapists, dietitians, nursing, and medical providers
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
• ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active state medical license
• Active DEA registration
