POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Psychiatrist (MD or DO) to provide diagnostic evaluation, medication management, and therapy support for adult and geriatric patients. The position offers the flexibility of telehealth and in-home visits, with support from a skilled multidisciplinary team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for new and existing patients
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and insomnia
• Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications as clinically indicated
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding diagnosis and treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with home health nurses, therapists, and primary care providers to ensure integrated patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system
• Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Licensed or eligible to practice in the state of Nevada
• Experience or interest in geriatric psychiatry, home-based care, or telepsychiatry preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong commitment to patient-centered and culturally sensitive care
