Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric oversight for PHP services in accordance with Magellan Medicaid requirements
- Conduct or supervise psychiatric evaluations and medication management
- Participate in regular case review and multidisciplinary treatment planning
- Ensure appropriate psychopharmacologic treatment and clinical documentation standards
- Provide consultation availability during program hours
- Support compliance with state, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and clinical leadership team
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with completion of accredited Psychiatry residency
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
- Active Idaho medical license
- DEA registration
- Current backgroundcheck
- Experience in behavioral health, PHP, IOP, or outpatient psychiatric settings preferred
- Familiarity with Medicaid populations and documentation standards
