Psychiatrist or Psych NP/PA (Contract, Telehealth)

JOB DESCRIPTION -- This is a hybrid telehealth/in-person role based in Bryan/College Station OR the Katy/Sugar Land areas. We are primarily looking for a provider who can be based in or commute regularly to our clinics in Bryan, Katy, or Sugar Land. A single full-time role would be created for a candidate who could support all three locations.

We are looking for a licensed psychiatrist or psych mid-level provider (NP or PA) to assist patients with intake and highly conservative medication management. Nurocoach clinical philosophy is built on a high level of collaboration between psychiatry and counseling- "lone wolves" need not apply!

WHO WE ARE

Nurocoach is a telehealth clinic committed to helping patients overcome the national mental health professional shortage and receive the care they need. We focus on helping patients with depression, anxiety and related challenges. We accept ADHD patients with an understanding that we are very conservative with stimulants, and we do not prescribe benzodiazepines.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a contract clinician to see patients, in-person and via telehealth technology, on a self-selecting schedule-- make your own hours! Our clinical team will benefit from seamless technology and a call center of Patient Coordinators who provide technology and financial support-- so you can focus on providing your clinical expertise.

The ideal team member will:

• be licensed with prescribing authority in Texas, and be willing to gain licensure in additional states (at Nurocoach expense)
• be passionate about providing best-in-class clinical support to patients struggling with depression, anxiety, and related ailments
• have extensive experience with patient intake and medication management in collaboration with counseling professionals
• be committed to an interdisciplinary approach that includes alternative treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato (esketamine)
• be very comfortable learning and utilizing technology such as telehealth platforms and EMR software

REQUIREMENTS

• Must meet education and licensing requirements to practice medication management (via Collaborating Physician)
• Must possess strong computer skills and comfort with technology

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

• Utilize AdvancedMD EMR software to manage a weekly schedule of appointments (providers may self-select their volume of availability)
• Submit patient notes in a timely manner, assisted by our real-time note-taking in EMR
• Assist in the ongoing development of corporate intellectual property and clinical content

Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
