Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist (MD/DO) or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) to join our Irwin office. This is a flexible 1099 contract position with both in-person and telehealth options, ideal for professionals looking for autonomy and work-life balance.

You’ll provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management and ongoing care to clients in a supportive outpatient environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations (60 minutes each)
• Provide medication management and follow-up sessions (20-minute med checks/reviews)
• Maintain detailed and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with therapists and other mental health professionals as needed
• Participate in a hybrid schedule — 1–2 in-office days per week (daytime, evening, or weekend availability preferred), with the option to see clients virtually

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or CRNP with Board Certification in Psychiatry
• Active State Medical License in Pennsylvania (required)
• DEA registration (required)
• CRNPs: Must have or be able to establish a collaborative/supervisory agreement with a physician
• Minimum of 15–20 clients per week (flexible scheduling available)
• Malpractice/liability insurance required
