Our well-established and growing mental health practice in Ann Arbor, MI, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. We specialize in integrative care that combines psychotherapy and medication management in a warm, client-centered environment. This role is ideal for a psychiatrist who values continuity of care, collaborative practice, and a thoughtful approach to healing across the lifespan.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a dedicated Psychiatrist to serve as a 1099 Independent Contractor, offering flexible scheduling with an emphasis on weekday morning availability, especially Thursdays and Fridays. This is primarily an in-person role in a professionally designed, calm office setting, with some hybrid flexibility available.

You’ll work alongside a supportive team of psychotherapists and mental health professionals, engaging in meaningful client relationships and contributing to a model of care rooted in clinical excellence and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and medication management
• Collaborate with psychotherapists and other clinicians to support comprehensive treatment plans
• Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation in our EMR system
• Participate in peer consultations and case reviews as needed
• Provide care to clients across the lifespan (children, adolescents, adults)

Preferred Schedule

• Weekday daytime shifts, with a strong preference for morning availability
• Preferred availability on Thursdays and Fridays
• Primarily in-person in Ann Arbor, with hybrid options available

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) credentials
• Active and unrestricted psychiatric license in the state of Michigan
• Board Certification in Psychiatry required
• Experience treating clients across all age groups strongly preferred
• Interest in a long-term role within a collaborative private practice setting
