Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various psychiatric practices, including experience with children and adults. This role involves providing comprehensive mental health care, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans for patients with diverse needs. The Psychiatrist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including psychotherapy and psychopharmacology.
  • Provide crisis management and intervention for patients in acute distress.
  • Offer telehealth services as needed to accommodate patient preferences and accessibility.
  • Engage in mental health counseling, utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and other therapeutic modalities.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records, intake assessments, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients with developmental disabilities, PTSD, addiction issues, or other complex conditions.
  • Participate in inpatient and outpatient settings, providing care across various age groups including pediatrics and geriatrics.
  • Stay current with medical terminology and best practices in behavioral health to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with completed residency in Psychiatry.
  • Post-residency experience preferred; experience working in hospital settings is a plus.
  • Proficiency in psychiatric evaluation techniques and treatment methodologies.
  • Familiarity with addiction counseling and crisis management strategies.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents is highly desirable; pediatric psychiatry experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of telehealth practices and technology for remote patient care.
  • Strong understanding of medical documentation standards and HIPAA compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment while providing compassionate patient care.

Pay: $300,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
