Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive psychiatric care, including medication management and patient assessments, to support individuals across the lifespan. Your expertise will help improve mental health outcomes through collaborative treatment plans and innovative approaches.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and patient assessments to determine mental health needs.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications with careful attention to individual patient profiles.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide patient education on medication use, side effects, and mental health strategies.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.
• Engage in telehealth consultations to expand access to care for remote patients.

Experience

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in Psychiatry or Mental Health Nursing.
• Demonstrated experience working with pediatric patients is required.
• Proven experience working with behavioral health populations across various settings.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR system documentation.
• Experience with psychopharmacology and medication management protocols.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation tools (ICD-10/ICD-9).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, and adults.
