Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner (Hybrid)

Mount Behavioral Health is currently hiring a Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to support our dedicated and collaborative team at our OMH-licensed MHOTRS outpatient clinic in Brooklyn. We are passionate about delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to children, adolescents, and families throughout our community.

Position Summary
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment oversight for youth receiving outpatient behavioral health services. This role involves close collaboration with therapists, care coordinators, and other clinical staff to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.

Responsibilities

• Complete psychiatric evaluations and assessments for children and adolescents
• Provide medication management and monitor treatment progress
• Review, update, and approve individualized treatment plans
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical staff to support integrated care
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with OMH and MHOTRS standards

Schedule

• Part-time opportunity
• Primarily remote, with one required in-person day per month

Qualifications

• Active New York State license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Prior experience working with children and adolescents is strongly preferred
• Background in outpatient or community mental health settings is a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

Compensation

• Hourly rate ranges from $100–$150 depending on experience
