Psychologist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling and a passion for helping individuals navigate their psychological challenges. This role involves providing therapeutic services to a diverse clientele, including children, families, and adults, with various mental health needs. The Psychologist will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions tailored to the needs of clients.
• Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and other therapeutic modalities to address issues such as PTSD, addiction, and behavioral health challenges.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary to support clients in acute distress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Facilitate telehealth sessions to expand access to care for clients unable to attend in-person appointments.

• Experience
• Proven experience in child & family counseling, with a focus on working with children and adolescents.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques.
• Background in clinical counseling, including individual psychotherapy and group therapy settings.
• Experience with psychological testing and intake procedures is essential.
• Knowledge of geriatric and pediatric populations is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals facing addiction issues or mental health disorders.
• Previous experience in outpatient settings is advantageous.
