Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Engage warmly with customers, taking orders and providing excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and serving areas
• Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations
• Assist with food handling, food prep, and serving snacks or light menu items as needed
• Support the team in maintaining a tidy café environment, restocking supplies, and adhering to food safety protocols

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for coffee is essential!
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and food preparation techniques
• Reliable team player who can follow instructions and work independently in a fast-paced café setting

Pay: From $11.50 per hour
