BASKETBALL TEACHER

First Shot Basketball School has been teaching children how to play the game since 1997. Students range in age from 3-15. We have an opportunity for 2 coaches in a NY public school, WEEK DAYS, from 2:40PM to 4:25PM, TUESDAY, THURSDAY and FRIDAY afternoon. You must be available for this time-slot. Additional opportunity for weekends/Saturday and Sunday.

Your love of children and an outgoing personality is as important as your basketball skills. You must know how to engage kids at their level, make it fun and encourage them to succeed.

If you do not have experience, you will not be considered. You MUST be a Queens Resident.

Compensation: $60 for each 90 minute weekday class. $40 per each weekend class.

We are interviewing now for high-energy teachers who can work the above schedule.

1. Great love and patience for children

2. Extremely reliable, responsible and prompt

3. Experience with young children

4. Good Basketball Skills and ability to teach them

5. Good sense of humor & contagious smile

It would help to have a vehicle at your disposal since public transportation is difficult to some locations.
