PT- Cusotodian

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of a building and the surrounding grounds. Their duties include vacuuming floors, sanitizing restroom facilities and collecting trash to ensure the building's occupants have a clean space. Must be dependable, courteous, and punctual in completing assigned duties.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· Clean restrooms daily, which include toilets, urinals, mirrors, stall partitions, and mop the floor

· Clean water fountains

· Clean all entrance doors, windows, and stairways

· Empty all trash containers throughout the building, which include meeting rooms and kitchen, offices, public areas, and outside trash baskets

· Sweep all the floors and mop as needed

· Strip, mop, and wax floors throughout the building

· Vacuum the floors as needed

· Pick up litter on the grounds, walkways, and in the parking lots

· Dust furniture which include desk, shelves and chairs throughout the building

· Maintain inventory of cleaning and other janitorial supplies

· Report all building, equipment, maintenance, grounds issues to the Facilities Manager

· Knowledge of basic hand tools and janitorial equipment

· Ability to perform the job in a safe manner

· Ability to work independently & complete tasks effectively and on time.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Must have a valid driver license with a clean driving record

· One year of custodian experience

· Knowledge of basic cleaning and maintenance supplies and equipment experience

· Ability to learn and apply policies and procedures to the work environment

· High School Diploma or GED

· Perform other duties as assigned

Pay: $12.50 per hour
