Description:
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and organized bar. This role requires a strong knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits to make recommendations to customers. It also requires strong customer service skills and attention to detail to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Greet guests warmly and take drink and food orders in a timely manner.
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.

Maintain strong knowledge of food and beverage menus to provide recommendations and upsell premium products when appropriate.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service, monitoring guest consumption and follow all local laws and hotel policies.

Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and resolve issues quickly.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including counters, sinks, shelves, and glassware.

Restock liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, mixers, and supplies throughout the shift.

Properly handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS system functions.

Assist with opening and closing duties, including inventory counts and end-of-shift reports.

Work collaboratively with servers, barbacks, and food & beverage team members to ensure smooth service

Change kegs, replace CO2 tanks, and ensure beverages are served properly.

Prepare garnishes (cutting fruit, stocking condiments) before and during service.
- Replenish ice bins, keep them clean and sanitary.
- Collect empty glasses, bottles, and trash from bar and surrounding areas.
- Clean and polish glassware, utensils, and bar tools.
- Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues or damaged equipment.

Previous bartending experience required.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, beer and wine, and responsible alcohol service required.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability and willingness to work a varied and flexible schedule including weekends, days, nights, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:

Must tolerate prolonged periods of standing, walking; occasional kneeling, bending, and stooping.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed, push up to 75 pounds as needed.
