PT Inside Sales and Purchasing Agent

Job Summary:

Interested in the marine industry? Join TESS, a leader in marine electrical services and equipment as a Part-Time Inside Sales and Purchasing Agent! You’ll assist with order processing, vendor communication and customer support – gaining valuable experience in marine operations, purchasing, and sales.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Handling incoming sales inquiries via phone and email.

· Assist with order processing, pricing, and purchase order creation.

· Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

· Maintain inventory and purchasing records.

· Provide exceptional customer service and support to both clients and vendors.

· Collaborate with team members to identify new opportunities and improve efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

· Friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented

· Comfortable using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

· Strong communication and organization skills

· Willingness to learn and take initiative

· No prior experience needed – training provided

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) or similar tools

· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

· Positive attitude and willingness to learn

· Prior experience in customer service or sales is a plus, but not required
