P/T Member Service Representative (Decatur, IL)

Come join an exciting, fast-growing company that is 100% member owned! We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Member Services Representative to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be the face of the credit union, assisting members and potential members with financial transactions, answering inquires, and promoting our products and services. If you have strong customer service skills and a passion for helping others, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist members and potential members with financial transactions.
• Provide accurate information about credit union products and services including some of the highest tech banking solutions available.
• Identify opportunities to enhance services to members.
• Assist with account maintenance
• Handle cash and reconcile daily transactions.
• Ensure a positive and professional experience for all members.
• Become a product knowledge expert to help members get more value and convenience out of their financial experience.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months previous experience in banking, customer service, or cash handling preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with financial systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some Saturdays, as needed.
