P/T Science Teacher

Job Summary
Seeking a strong Christian educator, possibly a retired teacher, for our middle school team. Looking for an educator to inspire and educate students, fostering curiosity, promote critical thinking, and develop a solid understanding of science concepts across multiple grade levels. We have a comprehensive curriculum to utilize in planning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans
• Utilize technology tools to facilitate interactive learning
• Assess student progress through quizzes, tests, projects, and standardized exams
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive and respectful learning environment.
• Support students through tutoring sessions, academic advising, and mentoring to foster their scientific curiosity and achievement.
• Maintain accurate grade records for reporting purposes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Education or related content area
• Classroom experience in education
• Demonstrated expertise in key science topics
• Ability to design and instruct effective plans
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, colleagues, and administration.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
