Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest happiness
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures to uphold health standards
• Support other team members by bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and assisting in food preparation when needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as square POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math for cashiering tasks
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Proven time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
• Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a part-time capacity
