PT Weekend Pet Sitter

Our local dog walking and pet sitting company is looking for a part-time pet sitter to join our pawesome crew. We are in need of sitters looking for part time work, with some holiday availability.

Duties:

• Provide pet care - including feeding, watering, cleaning litter boxes, play time, and more
• Walk dogs in accordance with company policies to maintain the dog’s safety
• Care at home- attend to care at home before or after the walk
• Generating visit reports- during each visit, our team provides our short update, all in our user friendly app.

Pawfect Fit?

Successful Pet Sitters Have:

• A sense of adventure- must be willing and able to walk up to a mile per visit rain, shine or blizzard. If it’s in the best interest of the pets, we’re out there! Must be comfortable driving in all conditions-snow, wind, and more-pets depend on us!
• A valid drivers license free from numerous or severe driving violations- as rarely, emergent pet transportation may be necessary.
• Steady availability-Must have availability for 2+ mornings (6:30am-10 am) or evenings (6-9:30 pm) weekly
• An Interest in a long term commitment- pets thrive with caretakers they know. So while we understand that specific availability may change, we expect all sitters to have interest in at least a 12 month commitment.
• A willingness to submit a background check- trust is inherent in the care placed in our team, and we want to always uphold that.
• An interest in an active job- our walkers regularly bend, stoop and sometimes lifting 30 lbs +, being comfortable and able to walk at least 1 mile/ 30 minute visit
• Great Tech-nique!Visits are completed via an app, and as such all sitters should be comfortable learning how to use the phone-based platforms we use.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.85 - $17.50 per hour

• How many hours per week are you looking for?
• On any given day our sitters may walk and drive in a variety of conditions(heat, snow, wind) and exert themselves caring for pets. Employees regularly walk up to 1 mile/visit, stoop, bend and lift up to 30 lbs. If conditions are safe for the pets to be out in, are you willing and able to perform such tasks year-round?
• Have you done any pet sitting or worked in another paid position where you regularly interacted with animals?
