PTE / IELTS Trainer / English Teacher

Overview:
We are seeking a qualified PTE Pearson Test of English / IELTS Trainer for a full-time, onsite position. This role focuses on delivering high-quality test preparation training to students aiming for international study, migration, or professional opportunities. The position requires strong expertise in PTE Academic and IELTS exam formats, scoring criteria, and effective teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver structured and result-oriented training for PTE Academic and IELTS (Academic & General) modules
• Prepare students for all four language skills: Speaking, Writing, Reading, and Listening
• Design lesson plans, practice tests, and mock exams aligned with Pearson and IELTS standards
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive, individualized feedback
• Teach proven exam strategies, time management techniques, and scoring methods
• Maintain updated knowledge of exam pattern changes, band descriptors, and assessment criteria
• Monitor student progress and maintain academic records
• Create an engaging classroom environment that promotes confidence and performance improvement
• Support students with test registration guidance and preparation timelines

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Certified IELTS Trainer and/or PTE Trainer (official certification preferred)
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in IELTS and/or PTE preparation
• Strong command of English language proficiency (spoken and written)
• In-depth understanding of band descriptors, scoring algorithms, and examiner expectations
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to train students from diverse academic and language backgrounds

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with international students and study-abroad counseling environments
• Familiarity with computer-based testing systems (especially PTE Academic)
• Consistent track record of student score improvement
• Professional attitude with strong organizational and mentoring skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
