Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to promote optimal oral health.

Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and current dental conditions.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care tailored to their needs.

Assist with chairside procedures by preparing instruments, managing patient comfort, and ensuring aseptic technique.

Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to safety protocols

Follow infection control protocols diligently to ensure a sterile environment in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Skills

Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for scheduling, documentation review, and record keeping.

Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and general dentistry procedures.

Experience with pediatric dentistry and providing care tailored to children’s needs.

Skilled in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.

Ability to monitor vital signs accurately and recognize signs of medical emergencies.

Familiarity with medical coding and documentation review for insurance processing.

Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations, including pediatrics.

$500.00 Signing bonus after 6 months of employment!

Pay: $50.00 - $52.00 per hour
