Role Description

This is a flexible remote opportunity for a Public Adjuster at Bellmore Public Adjusting. The position can be structured as full-time, part-time, or a serious side-career, depending on your availability and goals. Public Adjusters are responsible for:

  • Business development
  • Assessing property damage
  • Adjusting insurance claims on behalf of the insured, and
  • Negotiating fair settlements

The role involves working closely with clients and insurance carriers to guide and support the claims process efficiently and professionally. Comprehensive training, full support, and access to essential software and resources will be provided to help you succeed in this role.

We are expanding to states across the country and you will have the opportunity to work in your home state and draw business from states you are licensed in (available states listed below).

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean criminal history.
  • Public Adjusting license (required) and reside in one of the following states:
  • Colorado
  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • New Jersey
  • North Carolina
  • South Carolina
  • Texas
  • Property Damage and Insurance Claims handling skills
  • Experience in adjusting and managing Property Claims
  • Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret insurance documentation
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in claim assessments
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Business development experience and a self-starter
