Turner Adjusting Group is looking for a true hunter. Someone driven, persuasive and comfortable creating opportunities in the field.
As a Public Adjuster / Solicitor, you will meet property owners after major insurable damage, including large fires and other significant losses. Your role is to start conversations, build trust quickly and help clients take action when they need an advocate most.
This is not a sit-back-and-wait role. You will be expected to prospect, follow up, show up at loss locations and close representation contracts. The right person is energized by independence, income potential and meaningful work.
Each year, our firm assists nearly 100 victims of large fires. We stand out by leading with truth, care and value for the insured. This is a high-growth opportunity for someone who is confident, resilient and motivated to win.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect potential clients through in-person cold calls and phone outreach.
- Drive to loss locations to meet with and engage potential clients.
- Start conversations confidently and build trust quickly.
- Clearly communicate the value of Turner Adjusting Group.
- Close and sign representation contracts with new clients.
- Transition signed clients to the adjusting and estimating team for smooth handoffs.
- Represent the firm professionally and protect our public image.
- Maintain ethical standards in all client interactions.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate must:
- Have prior sales experience.
- Be comfortable approaching people after property loss.
- Be persuasive, confident and able to guide clients toward a decision.
- Handle rejection without losing momentum.
- Work independently without needing constant direction.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, written, verbal and electronic.
- Express empathy and compassion while still leading the conversation.
- Show a willingness to learn, adapt and receive coaching.
- Be curious and solutions-oriented.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Obtain and maintain a Public Adjusting License in Pennsylvania.
- Be fluent in Spanish and English, preferred.
- Have public adjuster experience, preferred.
