Public Agency Account Manager

Apex Real Estate Partners is looking for a Public Agency Account Manager to support and grow relationships with public-sector clients across the region. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, team-based environment and prefers account management over cold business development.

Key Details:

  • Pay: $70,000 -$85,000 (base) DOE + Incentive Bonus

  • Schedule: IN OFFICE, M – F, 8 – 5, with occasional evening or weekend needs

Who You Are: You’re someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and building long-term relationships. You’re naturally organized and always thinking a few steps ahead, whether that’s preparing for a client meeting or keeping a project on track behind the scenes. You’re a strong communicator who can navigate different personalities and priorities with ease, and you stay patient and consistent even when processes move slowly. You’re comfortable using technology to stay organized and are always open to finding smarter, more efficient ways to get things done.

Qualifications Include:

  • 2 – 5 years’ experience in account management, sales, or client-facing coordination roles
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Technologically inclined, with the ability to use CRM tools, research databases, and AI to improve research, outreach, and organization
  • Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles
  • Naturally collaborative, you enjoy helping teams succeed
  • Experience in real estate (commercial or residential), highly preferred
  • Willingness and ability to obtain Real Estate License within 90 days of hire

What You’ll Do: You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for public agency relationships while coordinating internal teams and keeping projects moving forward.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and grow relationships with public agency clients, serving as the primary point of contact
  • Lead regular client check-ins and maintain strong, consistent communication
  • Track key milestones across leases, projects, and timelines
  • Act as the “quarterback” across brokers, clients, and internal teams to keep work moving forward
  • Run internal weekly update calls and align stakeholders on priorities and progress
  • Support property tours and ongoing client initiatives
  • Monitor and evaluate public-sector RFP opportunities and determine which to pursue
  • Coordinate internal efforts and contribute to preparing and submitting RFP responses
  • Build relationships with city leaders, planners, and agency stakeholders
  • Represent the firm at meetings, industry events, and community engagements
