Public Area Attendant

Job Description

As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and appearance of all public areas within a facility, such as lobbies, restrooms, and hallways.

Job Responsibility

• Clean and sanitize all public spaces including lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and elevators
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and/or shampoo carpets and rugs
• Empty trash cans and replace liners
• Ensure all public areas are well-maintained and presentable at all times
• Notify maintenance or management of any issues or repairs needed
• Follow all health and safety regulations
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a cleaner or janitor is a plus
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Attention to detail and thoroughness
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
