Public Health Officer

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Public Health Officer to work across various assets and sites, ensuring the effective implementation of public health programs, promoting health and wellness, and responding to public health concerns and emergencies.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Occupational Health and Environment teams, healthcare professionals, government authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders to address public health issues and improve community health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct public health, food safety, and welfare inspections across sites and worker accommodations

• Monitor compliance with HACCP, FSMS, UAE regulations, and HSE standards

• Support disease prevention, health promotion, and community welfare initiatives

• Perform audits of catering facilities, grocery stores, barbershops, waste management, and public amenities

• Investigate public health incidents and recommend corrective actions

• Prepare inspection reports and track compliance actions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in public health, Biological Sciences, Food Safety, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

• Strong knowledge of public health principles, food safety, HACCP, and regulatory compliance

• Professional certifications in HACCP, ISO 22000, Food Safety, or NEBOSH are an advantage
