Public Library director

Coulterville District Library seeks a part-time Public Library Director to oversee daily operations of a standalone public library. The Director reports to a seven-member Board of Trustees and supervises one staff member. Responsibilities: Manage library operations and services, Supervise staff and work collaboratively with the Board, Implement public library best practices and the existing strategic plan. Prepare reports, maintain records, and manage the budget, Represent the library in the community. Qualifications: library experience preferred, but will also consider management experience. Knowledge of the Illinois Library Act or the desire to learn. Strong communication and computer skills, Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
